AC Brushless Servo Motors from Torque Systems
|
AC brushless servo motors differ from a typical servo motor in two main ways. The first way they differ is that servo motors typically operate based upon DC power, or direct current power. This means that the power is supplied from a unidirectional flow of electrical charge, whereas AC or alternating current power is supplied from a changing directional flow of electrical charge. The second way is the servo motors are typically brushed, meaning that they use mechanical means to be able to run indefinitely, whereas brushless motors utilize permanent magnets which reduce wear and increase efficiency. Torque Systems offers several different kinds of AC brushless servo motors including high energy, stainless steel, food grade, N-Series and H-Series.
